Kyligence Teams up With Microsoft to Bring Interactive OLAP Technology to Azure HDInsight

Santa Clara, California, October 18, 2017 – Kyligence Inc., a leading intelligent Big Data platform, announces today that its enterprise extreme OLAP on Hadoop solution, Kyligence Analytics Platform (KAP), is officially available on Microsoft Azure’s HDInsight application platform, bringing its powerful Big Data analysis processing technology to Azure users across the globe.

“Microsoft and Kyligence has worked closely to bring the open source big data OLAP technology onto Azure platform. KAP, powered by Apache Kylin, provides sub-second interactive analytics capability on massive dataset,” said Asad Khan, Group Program Manager at Microsoft. “KAP with Azure HDInsight will make big data analysis easier than ever before.”

KAP enables interactive analytics with sub-second query latency on petabyte-scale dataset. This boost in performance solves a pressing business problem for large companies, where query performance is a bottleneck in most Big Data analytics use cases. KAP is already widely deployed in the APAC region, including China Unicom, China Pacific Insurance Company (2nd largest insurance company in China), OPPO (4th largest smartphone manufacturer in the world) among others.

We are excited to partner up with a leading cloud provider like Microsoft Azure, bringing our technology to more companies to help solve their Big Data challenges,” said Luke Han, co-founder and CEO of Kyligence. “Our goal is to provide cutting-edge Big Data technology to empower every business to unleash the full potential of their data.
