Kyligence Announces General Availability of Kyligence Cloud to Accelerate Mission Critical Analytics at Strata Data Conference San Jose 2018

03 - 08 - 2018

San Jose, CA – March 7, 2018 – Kyligence, a leading big data intelligence company, announced general availability of Kyligence Cloud at Strata Data Conference 2018.

Kyligence Cloud is an OLAP Platform as a Service (PaaS) for large enterprise users with web-scale big data. Powered by cutting-edge OLAP technologies and best practices in the cloud, Kyligence Cloud provides customers with a fast, secure, scalable and cost-effective big data analytics solution.

During one session at Strata Conference 2018, Billy Liu, Vice President of Partners and Eco-system of Kyligence and Apache Kylin PMC, introduced: “We focus on the ease-of-use of Kyligence Cloud. It provides intelligent optimization and tuning services, a standard SQL query interface, high-performance OLAP services and ready-to-use BI tools. These features provide inclusive technology and capabilities for enterprise users to perform big data analysis in the cloud, and support the ever-growing business.

One significant benefit of Kyligence Cloud is to accelerate mission-critical analytics in the cloud. According to Billy Liu, Apache Kylin is the core technology of Kyligence Cloud, which supports sub-second query and web-scale high concurrency, enables instantaneous insights on massive volume dataset, unleashes the values of big data, and drives business growth.

Kyligence Cloud is currently available on Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. By provisioning Kyligence Cloud, users can migrate their local analytics applications to the cloud effortlessly. With the Kyligence Cloud, the Proof-of-Concept process that previously takes several months can now be completed within a few minutes.

Kyligence Cloud’s key features include:

One-Click Provision
Users can launch a Hadoop cluster and Kyligence Analytics Platform (KAP) stack with a single click. As a result, engineers can focus on business logic development rather than infrastructure management.

On-Demand Resource Allocation
Users can expand or reduce computing resources dynamically to meet the needs of their on-demand workload, while achieving a balance between cost and performance.

Native Cloud Storage
Kyligence Cloud integrates seamlessly with the native cloud storage services of AWS and Azure. Users can directly consume their source data uploaded to S3 or Azure Blob storage without further data movement.

High Availability
With data in Amazon RDS or S3 bucket, more than 99.95% availability can be achieved. The KAP instance in the cloud inherits the high availability of cloud technology service, including auto-scaling group and elastic load balancer, which means the KAP stack is far more stable than traditional architectures.

DevOps Friendly
DevOps can conveniently monitor tasks on Kyligence Cloud’s web console, such as deployment process, operation process, and job history. Its user-friendly UI design enables quick access to logs to facilitate monitoring and troubleshooting.

By deploying Kyligence Robot (part of the Kyligence Cloud product suite), DevOps team is able to quickly perform runtime inspection and resource planning with overview of cubes, queries, jobs, storage, and user activities provided by Kybot.

Data as a Service
Companies can deploy production-grade data processes rapidly for any analytics workload. Business analysts can efficiently explore data with our built-in BI tool, i.e., Kyligence Analyzer, or third-party solutions, such as Apache Zeppelin and Power BI, without tedious preparation process.

24/7 Support
Kyligence Cloud provides 24/7 support with tickets, documentation, tutorials, and automated online Kyligence Robot service.
