As a Founding Partner at Seven Seas Partners, Jack brought with him extensive experience and know-how in running start-ups and global companies to help entrepreneurs accelerate the growth of their business.
Prior to Seven Seas, Jack was the Co-President and CTO of Sina Corportation. Jack led Sina's technology and product as well as oversaw its popular social media platform Weibo. Prior to Sina, Jack was a Corporate Vice President at Cisco, where he led a large organization around the globe resulting in over $1 billion of annual revenue. Jack previously served as Vice President of Engineering & Research at eBay, and Chief Technology Officer at Netease. Jack began his career with Excite search engine in 1996 while pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley.
Currently Vice President of Engineering at AppZen, Debashis Saha was previously Vice President of Platforms for Intuit where he lead engineering that enabled developers to be productive, data driven and innovative. Prior to that, he was the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Jiff Inc., a healthcare startup focused on increasing health and happiness. Prior to Jiff, he was Vice President of Commerce Platform Infrastructure at eBay, where he led the engineering teams that built, managed and operated the platforms and infrastructure services for eBay. His portfolio included eBay’s entire infrastructure ranging from data centers to cloud, platforms, frameworks, data and analytics, engineering services and operations.
Debashis earned an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
